OUR STORY

Okapi was founded by Iris Cedon and Maya Gal, two technology executives with business intelligence expertise and a vision for helping business leaders capitalize on data that was traditionally underutilized. After establishing rapport with manufacturing companies in Israel and Europe by streamlining operational and financial processes, Okapi decided to expand to North America in 2017.

In North America, Iris and Maya were first approached by an executive from Canadian real estate giant QuadReal, who recognized the similarities between real estate and manufacturing, and felt that the insights Okapi’s machine learning generated for the manufacturing industry would be translatable – and extremely valuable – to commercial real estate.

After QuadReal implemented Okapi AI into its 40M SF portfolio, it quickly became apparent that Okapi’s AI engine could in fact uncover tremendous value for large landlords. The company’s engineering team set about redesigning their technology and systems to build a custom solution for commercial real estate.

Fast forward two years, Okapi has had tremendous success in generating value for owner-operators of large real estate portfolios. The company has now shifted its focus heavily to real estate, and is working with some of the largest landlords in the United States and Canada.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage the planning and execution of a range of marketing initiatives: social media campaigns, customer re-engagement strategies, email marketing campaigns, content marketing, press releases and website updates.
  • Write/edit white papers, case studies, client success stories & testimonials, corporate communications, website copy, blog content, and other marketing collateral
  • Understand the goal, target audience, and message of a campaign and create persuasive copy for offline and digital (emails, banners, landing pages, social media) to generate desired action from the target audience
  • Analyze and report on performance metrics and insights for all marketing campaigns
  • Collect raw content from sales and business stakeholders and develop marketing-ready copy.
  • Work closely with the design team to brainstorm ideas and creative concepts
  • Keep track of latest trends in content marketing, creative copywriting, competitors and industry trends
  • Engage in daily social listening to monitor industry news, trends, competitor activity, and our brands/digital products.
  • Work closely with management in daily coordination of creative assets, campaign launch planning, and media planning.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of experience in a digital marketing role in B2B software company, SAAS
  • Experience with a marketing automation platforms
  • Strong analytical abilities, understand how to apply ROI, KPIs; Ability to interpret the data and validate

What You’ll Do

At Okapi AI, the customer success manager will understand customer outcomes through ongoing collection and analysis of data and feedback and turn this into on-boarding and retention strategies as well as feed into the product road map. They’ll be involved in all aspects of account management, demonstrating the product, educating customers and more. Okapi team members look to customer success for input across all key decisions.

  • Be the best user of Okapi in the world
  • Establish clear retention goals and process milestones for the client to work toward
  • Represent the voice of the customer to provide input into every core product, marketing and sales process
  • Collaborate closely with team members to support support pilot customers, renewals, and expansion opportunities

What we’re looking For

Experience

  • 2+ years working in the commercial real estate industry in asset management/property management/finance positions
  • Previous experience as customer success or account management experience in a SaaS or software company – optional
  • Proven track record of working in a customer facing role

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree with a focus on a finance, technical and/or business discipline
  • Experience working with, and managing, stakeholders and customers
  • Technical skills required, as they relate for the use of the product to service to be solid
  • A high level of accuracy and attention to detail is required
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
