Okapi was founded by Iris Cedon and Maya Gal, two technology executives with business intelligence expertise and a vision for helping business leaders capitalize on data that was traditionally underutilized. After establishing rapport with manufacturing companies in Israel and Europe by streamlining operational and financial processes, Okapi decided to expand to North America in 2017.
In North America, Iris and Maya were first approached by an executive from Canadian real estate giant QuadReal, who recognized the similarities between real estate and manufacturing, and felt that the insights Okapi’s machine learning generated for the manufacturing industry would be translatable – and extremely valuable – to commercial real estate.
After QuadReal implemented Okapi AI into its 40M SF portfolio, it quickly became apparent that Okapi’s AI engine could in fact uncover tremendous value for large landlords. The company’s engineering team set about redesigning their technology and systems to build a custom solution for commercial real estate.
Fast forward two years, Okapi has had tremendous success in generating value for owner-operators of large real estate portfolios. The company has now shifted its focus heavily to real estate, and is working with some of the largest landlords in the United States and Canada.

What You’ll Do
At Okapi AI, the customer success manager will understand customer outcomes through ongoing collection and analysis of data and feedback and turn this into on-boarding and retention strategies as well as feed into the product road map. They’ll be involved in all aspects of account management, demonstrating the product, educating customers and more. Okapi team members look to customer success for input across all key decisions.

•Proven critical thinking skills to best determine solutions to fit the needs of the clients.
•Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with the team towards a common goal.

• Leads and execute Okapi’s POC experiments
• Plan, execute and optimize Okapi’s ML models
• Design and build Okapi’s data pipelines and ensure their validity
• Explore new domains where Okapi’s solution can be deployed and used
Requirements:
• Ability to dive in into previously known domain of expertise (Supply chain, inventory, manufacturing, yield and etc…)
• Experience in properly designing experiments that provide statistically significant hypothesis validation
• Strong theoretical understanding of the concepts of machine learning
• Hands on experience in writing efficient and reroutable ML code (preferably in R)
• Hands on experience in manipulating data using SQL
• Hands on experience in tackling regression, classification, time series forecasting and optimization problems.
